3 steps to register your dancer for phase 2 openings

fall 2020

Step 1: Set up a $10 in person trial class

We want you and your dancer to be completely confidant in your decision to enroll in our dance classes. This trial class is a wonderful way to test run dance and learn about our program and COVID safety procedures. We can motivate your child during these trying times and keep them safe.

Step 2: Purchase a dance starter package

After your trial class you can reserve your spot in class by purchasing the appropriate starter package. These packages secure your child's spot in class and cover tuition, registration fees and the costume installments through the end of March.  No further payment will be due until April. The packages save you $50 off the normal set up costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your COVID Safety protocols? Every dancer has their temperature checked and completes a daily health screening. We have extensive social distancing reminders, and cleaning protocols, most of all masks are required at all time when at our facility. Learn more about our full safety protocols here

How many dancers are allowed in classes at a time?

25% of the Auburn location occupancy is 79 people. Each studios occupancy is 49, which makes the room occupancy 12, even though our room sizes have very different square footage. In an effort to ensure enough space for social distancing our maximum class sizes will be as follows

Studio A: 12
Studio B: 8
Studio C: 8
Studio D: 10

25% of the Federal Way location occupancy is 65 people. Both studios room occupancy 12.

Why are you waiting to expand your class capacity? The announcement of our region being placed in phase 2 was exciting and we are approaching it with trepidation because there is the possibility that if COVID cases spike our region could regress back to phase 1. If that were to happen we would be forced into a position to either defy the Governor's orders or force students onto zoom. While zoom has been a tool we have used to keep our students dancing during the pandemic, it is not an ideal teaching environment. We want to provide the highest caliber of instruction possible and we believe that is best delivered in person.

What does my dancer need to wear for classes? We have a uniform dress code for our children's and school division classes. We have an in studio boutique where you can purchase any necessary items. Click here to learn more

Do you have a recital? Yes, a performance is an essential part of dance training. COVID19 has prevented a traditional recital as theaters are not available for rental. We have two recital plans depending on how COVID continues to impact society. Option 1 is a virtual recital where we transform our Federal Way location into a performance space with theater lights, curtains  and we film the routines. We were very successful with this model last year and we will be able to add a livestream this year. The second option is an outdoor performance. Details are still pending and we are optimistic about this option.

How much are monthly dance lessons? The monthly tuition is based on the total number of hours the FAMILY dances per week. This way there is a multi class/student discount built in. The prices listed are per month, not per week. We are also proud to offer an inclusive pricing model which means that unlike other studios your monthly tuition INCLUDES your recital costume. We do not charge a costume fee in addition to tuition. You will see it listed out on your monthly statement for our accounting purposes. This helps us properly pay our sales tax to the state and make sure we don't spend the costume money on the power bill.

Where are you located?
