Audition Results are in!

Congrats to all those that auditioned! We will have a wonderful performance!

Auditions for the Nutcracker

Casting for the 11th annual production of the Nutcracker, will be held on August 12th, 2023. Dancers wishing to participate need to audition in the time listed below. Please audition with your level and age group. Auditions are a dancer's job interview, and they should dress appropriately. Auditions are positive experience and teachers are looking for the best role to showcase your child's abilities. We will have casting posted on Monday August 14th, on our website. Dancers must be at least 5 years old. All dancers must be enrolled in the level appropriate ballet class.

Casting results are final. We ask that when dancers make the choice to audition, they are prepared to accept any role offered to them. Casting is not taken lightly, and we work hard so that each dancer has a moment to shine. Unfortunately, not everyone can be the lead role. There are many things to consider when choosing roles and a beautiful dancer may not be right for that role. It is difficult but also very important for young dancers to learn to not take casting personally. This is a crucial skill in a performer’s life.

We are thrilled to announce that the Board of Directors have agreed to waive the traditional participation fee dancers pay to help cover some of the costs that go into a show of this caliber. Dancers costumes, sets and props are all provided for free of charge.

Show shirts will be available and at the participant's expense.

Please be sure to thank our supportive board of directors and help them by locating sponsors for our show, so that we can eliminate performance fees forever.
